What this server can do

4 functions, named and described by the server itself. Parameter names are shown because they say more about what a function does than its name usually does.

foura_auto(url, data, method, headers, validate, forceProxy, timeout_ms, ignoreProxies, offload_large, returnSession, followRedirects)
Give it a public URL and get the content back. This is the default when you don't want to choose between HTTP, proxy rotation, and a full browser. On protected targets, or whenever HTTP 200 may still be a challenge or incomplete page, pass validate.data.accept with text unique to the real content. Auto makes bounded attempts and returns either validated content or a failure; it cannot guarantee a match. The response includes completion details and, by default, reusable session values for follow-up calls. Use a lower-level tool when you need direct control over HTTP, proxy selection, or browser navigation, or to choose which browser is presented to the target: that lives on foura_single and foura_proxy. Required: url.
foura_browser(url, proxy, cookies, headers, checkText, unblocker, userAgent, timeout_ms, checkStatus, offload_large)
Load a public URL in a full browser session. JavaScript runs, the DOM renders, and cookies come back with the response. Use it for single-page apps, lazy-loaded content, or supported browser challenges. For a protected page, call foura_proxy first and pass its returned proxy ID here to reuse that exit. Set unblocker:false when you want the page exactly as it loads. Required: url.
foura_proxy(request, maxTries, timeout_ms, exitCountries, ignoreProxies, offload_large)
Route an HTTP request through rotating proxies with automatic retry. Use it when foura_single is blocked or the target requires a specific exit country. The response includes the proxy ID that succeeded; reuse it with foura_single or foura_browser, or exclude it with ignoreProxies. Use foura_browser when the page needs JavaScript. Set exitCountries for a strict country allowlist, and request.browser, request.os, or request.version to present a different browser. Required: request.
foura_single(os, url, data, proxy, method, browser, headers, profile, version, validate, unblocker, timeout_ms, tryJsonData, returnBuffer, offload_large, followRedirects, accept_timeout_ms, connect_timeout_ms, dns_cache_timeout_sec, server_response_timeout_ms)
Send one HTTP request and return the response. Use it for static pages, JSON APIs, and server-rendered HTML. Set browser, os, or version when a target refuses the default Chrome. Switch to foura_proxy if the response is blocked, and use foura_browser when the page needs JavaScript. Required: method, url.

Signals

These are separate measurements of different things. They are deliberately not combined into one score, because a popularity number that mixes website traffic with saves and stars cannot be checked or acted on.

Signal Value What it measures Window Observed Source
GitHub stars 4 Number of GitHub accounts that bookmarked this repository since it was created. It is a bookmark count, not installs, not active users and not quality. cumulative, all time GitHub
Last commit 2026-08-06 Date of the most recent push to any branch. This is the strongest cheap indicator of whether the project is still maintained. point in time GitHub
Open issues 0 Open issues plus open pull requests, as GitHub counts them together. A high number can mean an active project or an abandoned one. as of fetch GitHub
Package downloads 126 downloads Package downloads from the npm registry in this window. Includes continuous integration runs, mirrors and automated installs, so it overstates the number of human users. 2026-07-30 to 2026-08-05 npm
Latest published version 0.6.0 Latest version string the maintainer published to the registry. as of fetch Model Context Protocol
Registry record last updated 2026-08-06 When the registry record was last updated by its maintainer. point in time Model Context Protocol
License MIT Licence GitHub detected in the repository. Detection can be wrong; the LICENSE file is authoritative. as of fetch GitHub
First listed in the MCP Registry 2026-08-06 Date this server was first published to the official MCP Registry. Not a usage or quality measure. point in time Model Context Protocol
repository status active The repository exists on GitHub and is not archived. This says nothing about how recently it was worked on. as of fetch GitHub
mcp tools declared 4 tools Number of functions the server itself declared when asked to list them. This is what the server offers an agent, not a measure of how well any of them work. as of probe mcp.foura.ai
mcp endpoint status ok The server listed 4 functions when asked. as of probe mcp.foura.ai

These share tags the maintainers applied themselves, such as web-scraping. Common tags like "mcp" or "ai" are ignored for this: agreeing with six hundred other projects is not a similarity.

This is not a recommendation and not a test result. It is a map of what the authors said their work is about.
