What this server can do
7 functions, named and described by the server itself. Parameter names are shown because they say more about what a function does than its name usually does.
batch_keyword_difficulty(store, country, keywords, language)- Score up to 10 keywords in one call. Cost: 10 credits per keyword. Required: keywords.
get_app_detail(app_id)- Return one app's full record. Accepts the canonical id ("apple:284882215", "google:com.spotify.music"), a bare Apple track id, an Android package name, or a pasted App Store / Google Play URL. Cost: 1 credit. Required: app_id.
get_app_historicals(days, store, store_id)- Return historical metric points for one app (daily up to 90 days, weekly beyond). Cost: 1 credit. Required: store_id.
get_app_reviews(limit, store, topic, app_id, offset, country, store_id, sentiment, tracked_app_id)- Read app reviews two ways: pass app_id for live store reviews of ANY app — App Store or Google Play — (no tracking needed, storefront selectable), or omit it to read the workspace's tracked apps with sentiment, topics and improvement areas attached. Live Google Play rows carry no title (Play reviews have none). Cost: 1 credit.
get_keyword_difficulty(store, country, keyword, language)- Score one keyword for difficulty and opportunity, on the App Store or Google Play. Cost: 10 credits. Required: keyword.
get_supported_countries- Return supported country codes. Cost: free.
search_apps(limit, store, offset, search, sort_by, category, language, sort_dir, languages, search_in, categories, max_rating, min_rating, max_revenue, max_reviews, min_revenue, min_reviews, price_model, growth_metric, growth_period, max_downloads, min_downloads, updated_after, min_growth_pct, released_after, updated_before, released_before, growth_direction, max_days_since_update, max_days_since_release)- Search App Store and Google Play apps across 25+ filters — store, category, language, price model, rating, review count, download and revenue estimates (min and max), release and update recency, and review-growth direction — sorted by any column. The tool behind niche sizing and competitor shortlists. Cost: 1 credit.

Signals
These are separate measurements of different things. They are deliberately not combined into one score, because a popularity number that mixes website traffic with saves and stars cannot be checked or acted on.
| Signal | Value | What it measures | Window | Observed | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GitHub stars | 0 | Number of GitHub accounts that bookmarked this repository since it was created. It is a bookmark count, not installs, not active users and not quality. | cumulative, all time | GitHub | |
| Last commit | 2026-08-05 | Date of the most recent push to any branch. This is the strongest cheap indicator of whether the project is still maintained. | point in time | GitHub | |
| Open issues | 0 | Open issues plus open pull requests, as GitHub counts them together. A high number can mean an active project or an abandoned one. | as of fetch | GitHub | |
| Package downloads | 70 downloads | Package downloads from the npm registry in this window. Includes continuous integration runs, mirrors and automated installs, so it overstates the number of human users. | 2026-07-30 to 2026-08-05 | npm | |
| Latest published version | 1.2.0 | Latest version string the maintainer published to the registry. | as of fetch | Model Context Protocol | |
| Registry record last updated | 2026-07-31 | When the registry record was last updated by its maintainer. | point in time | Model Context Protocol | |
| License | MIT | Licence GitHub detected in the repository. Detection can be wrong; the LICENSE file is authoritative. | as of fetch | GitHub | |
| First listed in the MCP Registry | 2026-07-31 | Date this server was first published to the official MCP Registry. Not a usage or quality measure. | point in time | Model Context Protocol | |
| repository status | active | The repository exists on GitHub and is not archived. This says nothing about how recently it was worked on. | as of fetch | GitHub | |
| mcp tools declared | 7 tools | Number of functions the server itself declared when asked to list them. This is what the server offers an agent, not a measure of how well any of them work. | as of probe | api.getappniche.com | |
| mcp endpoint status | ok | The server listed 7 functions when asked. | as of probe | api.getappniche.com |

These share tags the maintainers applied themselves, such as app-store, aso, google-play. Common tags like "mcp" or "ai" are ignored for this: agreeing with six hundred other projects is not a similarity.
This is not a recommendation and not a test result. It is a map of what the authors said their work is about.
