What this server can do

12 functions, named and described by the server itself. Parameter names are shown because they say more about what a function does than its name usually does.

add_icons_to_collection(iconIds, collectionId)
Add catalog icons to an existing Icon Collection as plain entries (idempotent). Requires a Pro API token with collections:write and mcp:use scopes. Required: collectionId, iconIds.
create_icon_kit(name, iconIds, framework, colorPolicy, description, namingPolicy)
Create a persistent Pro Icon Collection and optionally add icon IDs. Requires Pro API token with collections:write and mcp:use scopes. Required: name.
export_icon_collection(png, formats, sizeProps, titleProp, decorative, typescript, colorPolicy, defaultSize, packageName, collectionId, namingPolicy, packageVersion, componentSuffix)
Queue a Pro Icon Collection export, including optional PNG packs. Requires an MCP token with exports:create. Required: collectionId.
export_icon_png(id, zip, sizes, padding, filename, iconName, densities, iconColor, iconColorMode, backgroundType, backgroundColor)
Render one icon as PNG or a ZIP of PNG variants. Requires the Pro Plan and an MCP token with icons:read and exports:create scopes. Required: id, iconName.
generate_icon_kit_for_project(screens, category, maxIcons, framework, colorPolicy, projectName, namingPolicy, requiredConcepts, projectDescription)
Recommend and persist an Icon Collection for a project brief. Requires Pro API token with collections:write and mcp:use scopes. Required: projectDescription.
get_icon(id, format, includeSvg)
Return one icon by ID. Metadata is public; raw SVG requires a Pro API token with icons:read and mcp:use scopes. Required: id.
get_icon_collection(page, perPage, collectionId)
Read one Icon Collection with its paginated entries. Custom-icon entries include entryId, customEditId, customName, and their customized SVG snapshot as the body. Requires a Pro API token with collections:read and mcp:use scopes. Required: collectionId.
list_icon_collections(page, limit, query)
List your persistent Icon Collections with icon counts. Requires a Pro API token with collections:read and mcp:use scopes.
recommend_icons_for_ui(limit, category, concepts, uiDescription)
Recommend icon candidates for a UI description using svgicons.com search metadata. Required: uiDescription.
remove_icon_from_collection(iconId, allVariants, collectionId)
Remove an icon from an Icon Collection. Entry-precise by default: only the plain entry is removed and custom variants survive; set allVariants true to remove every entry of the icon. Requires a Pro API token with collections:write and mcp:use scopes. Required: collectionId, iconId.
search_icon_sets(page, limit, query, category)
Search icon sets by name, prefix, author, category, or description.
search_icons(limit, query, offset, category, includeSvg, iconSetPrefix)
Search svgicons.com icons and return icon metadata. Raw SVG requires a Pro API token with icons:read and mcp:use scopes. Required: query.

Signals

These are separate measurements of different things. They are deliberately not combined into one score, because a popularity number that mixes website traffic with saves and stars cannot be checked or acted on.

Signal Value What it measures Window Observed Source
GitHub stars 0 Number of GitHub accounts that bookmarked this repository since it was created. It is a bookmark count, not installs, not active users and not quality. cumulative, all time GitHub
Last commit 2026-07-18 Date of the most recent push to any branch. This is the strongest cheap indicator of whether the project is still maintained. point in time GitHub
Open issues 0 Open issues plus open pull requests, as GitHub counts them together. A high number can mean an active project or an abandoned one. as of fetch GitHub
Latest published version 0.3.2 Latest version string the maintainer published to the registry. as of fetch Model Context Protocol
Registry record last updated 2026-07-18 When the registry record was last updated by its maintainer. point in time Model Context Protocol
License MIT Licence GitHub detected in the repository. Detection can be wrong; the LICENSE file is authoritative. as of fetch GitHub
First listed in the MCP Registry 2026-07-18 Date this server was first published to the official MCP Registry. Not a usage or quality measure. point in time Model Context Protocol
repository status active The repository exists on GitHub and is not archived. This says nothing about how recently it was worked on. as of fetch GitHub
mcp tools declared 12 tools Number of functions the server itself declared when asked to list them. This is what the server offers an agent, not a measure of how well any of them work. as of probe svgicons.com
mcp endpoint status ok The server listed 12 functions when asked. as of probe svgicons.com

These share tags the maintainers applied themselves, such as icons, svg-icons, ai-coding, vscode. Common tags like "mcp" or "ai" are ignored for this: agreeing with six hundred other projects is not a similarity.

This is not a recommendation and not a test result. It is a map of what the authors said their work is about.
